Just the other day, I tried this recipe I saw on the travel channel on cable tv. I can't really remember the host nor the name of the show. All I know is that the host cum chef really loves chocolates. All her recipes contained chocolate and the food turned out real great.

Anyway, here's the recipe which I imitated.

Makes 6 small cups.

Ingredients: 1 Mars bar, 1 cup of corn flakes, 10g butter, 50ml milk, 1 tbsp sugar.

Method:

  1. Melt the mars bar in a saucepan.
  2. Add in butter, sugar and milk.
  3. Add in the cornflakes and mix thoroughly until the mars-chocolate coats every single piece of corn flake.
  4. Prepare 6 empty cookie cup holder and distribute evenly.
  5. Chell for about an hour and tada...

Hey there, I've decided to upload this recipe which I think is a rather time-consuming one.. But once you've succeeded in baking it, you'll realize that your effort hasn''t gone down to waste.

SOUFFLE POTATO

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Total cooking time: 1 hour 20 minutes
Makes 2

Ingredients:
2 large russet potatoes, unpeeled
60 g grated cheddar cheese
1 tablespoons light sour cream
1½ eggs, separated
½ spring onion, finely chopped½ tablespoon chopped parsley

Method:
1. Preheat the oven to moderate 180oC.
2. Pierce the potatoes three times with a skewer.
3. Bake for 50 minutes; increase the oven temperature to moderately hot 200 oC.
4. Cut the top off each potato and discard.
5. Carefully scoop out the potato flesh, leaving enough attached to the skin to make a firm shell.
6. Mash the cheddar cheese, sour cream, egg yolks, spring onion and parsley. Season, to taste.
7. Using a clean bowl and beaters, beat the egg whites until firm peaks form.
8. Gently fold a quarter of the egg white into the potato mixture to loosen it up., then carefully fold in the remainder.
9. Pile the mixture into the potato shells.
10. Place the potato shells on a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes.

Friday, 23 May 2008,

Finally, our food blog has been created.

I had originally gone for an address which looks something like this, www.fantasticfoursome.blogspot.com but unfortunately it has been taken by 4 girls.. Their last post was written in 2006 and the blog lasted only 4 months! What a waste.. We could have taken that address otherwise..

Anyway, I did a little investigation and have concluded that these 4 girls are from the United Kingdom. One of them by the name of Zoe is in a 24 year old ESL teacher, whatever "ESL" means. I'm also pretty sure they're really good friends and that they all hold different jobs.. Haha.. Yes, I read their blog.. Wasn't trying to be a stalker or anything but you know.. Lol.

Well enough said about the wasteful people who took our "should-have been-url-address"..

The first recipe shall be posted out real soon, I promise.
